What payment methods are available?
When collecting the vehicle, any outstanding balance can be paid using a valid CREDIT CARD that MUST be in the name of the main driver and be valid for at least 3 months from the end date of the rental period. The payment card CANNOT be a pre-paid credit card, an electronic-use only card or a debit card. We will also need to reserve credit with, or obtain an authorisation from, the credit card issuer at the time of vehicle collection to cover the cost of the Insurance Excess and the Security Deposit.
What is the cancellation policy?
There are no costs for cancellations as long as we are notified 7 days prior to the commencement of the rental. As an example, if the rental commences on a Monday then the cancellation instructions must be received by no later than the previous Monday. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the commencement of the rental, or in the event the booked vehicle not collected, will be subject to a cancellation charge in the amount of 3 days rental charge. Any difference between the total cancellation charge and the deposit paid will be charged to the payment card details supplied. Cancellation notifications must be sent by email to cancellations@easyride.pt quoting the Booking Reference.
DO YOU SUPPLY BABY OR CHILD SEATS?
Yes we have Baby Chairs, Child Seats and Booster Seats available. These can be requested during the reservation process.
CAN I TAKE THE VEHICLE TO PORTO SANTO ISLAND?
No. The vehicle must remain on the mainland island of Madeira at all times

What is the fuel policy?
Vehicles are delivered with fuel, usually a full tank. Customers must return the car with the same amount of fuel to avoid any payment surcharge. Surcharges are detailed in the Tariff section in the Terms and Conditions. There is no refund for excess fuel.
How MANY AUTHORISED DRIVERS ARE ALLOWED?
We allow 2 authorised drivers per vehicle. The is no additional charge for the second driver.
Is there an age restriction?
The minimum age for every driver is 21 years and they must have held the driving license for at least one year.
What documents do I need when collecting the vehicle?
• CREDIT CARD. A credit card in the name of the main driver that is valid for at least 3 months from the end date of the rental period and has a credit limit sufficient to pay any outstanding balance and also to be able to reserve credit with, or obtain an authorisation from the credit card issuer, for an amount to cover the Insurance Excess and Security Deposit.
• PASSPORT OR IDENTITY CARD.
• DRIVING LICENCE. For EACH driver, a driving licence issued for more than one year and valid in the European Community. The presentation of the original document is mandatory.
